#128413 - pen, I do not think so - and an answer to the OP Responding to: ???'s previous message |
"Interfacing 8052 to flash and pen drives "
If, as I guess a "pen drive" is an USB stick, the simple answers is You can't. A USB stick requires an USB MASTER and no such chip i know of is '51 based. However, to answer the original question I am using a SST 2Mbyte (when talking memory 'b' is usually 'bit') chip that intefaces easily with the '51. http://www.sst.com/products....ST39VF1681 It is CHEAP ($2.xx in qty) I would use this or a similar chip and avoid all the file structure stuff. Erik PS re flash SST erases in milliseconds, most other this size require half a minute. |
