Hi,

visualSTATE is a much more mature and feature rich product with support. You can design your FSM's graphically with it. But this comes at a price. If you work for a (larger) company this would not be any problem but if you are doing 8051 for hobby you probably do not want to spend lots of money on design tools. This is where my tool can help. I usually design my FMS's in a free UML tool called BOUML and then create the implementation with my tool.
