Hi! If your display controller is HD44780, it has "MOVE SCREEN" order. You can simply use it, but you have to look at display's documents (it is only one byte, which you have to send to control register).
If you can use 4x20 display, I can send you ready solution. 2 days is very short time...
What is your project status? Can you switch on your display? Can you display text on it? You have problem only with text moving? Did you make the pc board?
