#12995 - RE: simple program for testing 8051 |
Hi Kamala,
The problem is with your trouble shooting skills. Your code is allright. 1-Never run your code on "untested hardware". 2-Check the connections for internal / external code access, and other tie_ups according to the data sheet. 3-Always keep a test code handy with you. This can be as simple as a flasher at around 1Hz. This will tell you that your micro is running as well as the delay is visible for testing. (You would not need a scope at many instances). 4-forget the initializations if you have not enabled the interrupts. Good Luck Simon PS: You should at least come back and tell us all what happened?? |
