#13038 - RE: switching a port high/low |
I've asked the same question to the manufacturer (he's very patient with me - thank god)
He pointed out that I am setting P3.6 and P3.7 to zero, which are the /wr /rd strobes, so it will be crashing the program. I have a feeling however that this isn't going to fix the problem... Bert, What you see is the whole program, so no, I'm not setting the Data Direction Register (which one is that?) Bruce, Yes, it is referenced to ground.... Peter, The assembler I'm using came with the board, it's a little old, but does the job. The LOAD instruction, is a directive to the assembler to transmit the file, in Intel HEX format out of Com1: at 9600,8,n,1 The board was designed to receive progrtams this way if you take out the instruction all should be well.
