I saw YOUR code page and I think yours also stinks !
Now this 89C4051 we get in just a 1.00$ ! The programmer
for same one make at home for toatal $2.00 !! It connects to
PC serial port and does many wonderful things.
So I think using 8pins data + 4 control pins is very outdated
idea. Go and check that 2wire LCD interface on this site and
then know how wonderful 4051 type device can be. It can be run
very fast as 24Mhz clock as I am using or even faster now new
AVR version is there 89LP4052 which can do 20 MIPs !!!
I also hate people using C or basic for assembler. They are
never looking at their total code space! Who bothers when one can always get upto 128KB device for coding laziness?
