I believe what he wants is to program a 16V8 over a USB port.
If he can find the spec's for programming a 16V8, he's on his way, because the USB interface can be done with an off-the-shelf micro or other off-the-shelf interface device. He'll need a local micro in order to achieve the precise timing and, IIRC, a 12-volt supply to program the GAL. His micro will have to be capable of pretty precise timing, too. RE |
