It is this IAP conversion that will be the difficult one. I think IAP between the NXP devices we are discussing should not be difficult, I first wrote an IAP code for the C51 which I converted for C669 with minor changes, unfortunately (for you) I dont think I have one for the V51, check out the FlashMagic website, I got the original ideas for the IAP from the FlashMagic site, and the NXP application notes.
