I don't think you get the source code for that, though...!

correct and it only works with specific SILabs chips configured in a specific way.

However, I doubt that CMX could be in business if (significant) problems existed AND it is royalty free.

I have taken the Lantronix route (limited quantity) were I to make a lot of units, I would use the freebie and, if that was not good enough, at least I would have the basics for using what I then would spend 3 grand for.
