I would first like to thank everyone for their timely responses.
My project was to figure out why MODBUS(RTU) would not function on the second serial port while ASCII would.
After about twelve days of learning the product (PLC's) and delving into to the assembly, I figured it out.
I chose to leave the program as is with the Conditionals and tried to modify it as little as possible in order to make it work. Seperating the operating system into objects only yeilded problems with memory addresses
(Too many ORG's, DB's and Tables for a novice). I believe making the project into more intuitive subroutines is a task for when I feel more comfortable with Assembly and Memory management.
