I am using a filter material from Caloric Color in NJ, they make LED filter material for lots of OEM's, kind of a Homalite clone.
I may try the Homalite as a test, but I'm not terribly optimistic. Some of the LED's from Fairchild bled-thru almost as much as the direct segment light... On the custom display, let me gather some documentation together and send it on to you. Apparently HP --> Agilent --> Avago. I am working on getting a tube of these to test in my fixture.
