#133360 - voltage question and datasheet errata
Responding to: ???'s previous message
According to the errata for the datasheet, found here:

http://www.sprow.co.uk/bbc/hardw...tm#tms6100

The limits of Vdd should be -9.3 (min) -9 (nom) -9.7 (max).

So that positive 9.7 in the datasheet is indeed a misprint, if that's what you were referring to.

Is there some more subtle reason, other than convention, that in this sheet Vdd is -9v and Vss is 0v instead of saying Vdd is 0v and Vss is 9v? Is there a reason not to power it with a standard 9v battery hooked up with the positive terminal to Vss and the negative terminal to Vdd?

-Sam
