Yes Code can be in RAM or Flash chip and PDATA or XDATA could be someting other than RAM. If a beginner is tring "cool" stuff and tricks like that without understanding the memory spaces then, failure is a good option.
Ajay Bhargav 3 byte comment probably refers to the fact that a generic pointer to code is stored in RAM unless it is qualified. |
