You mentioned you are only looking at the A phase as a test.
I missed that connected a rotary encode to the stepper motor with timed belt which WILL give fast oscillations on the pulses. With proper (fast and accurate) quadrature detection this will be seen as 'double reversals and disappear. Erik |
