I did simulate this program through 8051IDE, the program runs as desired, where I type 'OK' to assume the modem replies to let the program runs accordingly.
Is the MC35 a DCE or DTE? The modem is DCE. Does your 8051 send out what think it needs to send out? When I run this program on the real AT89C51, the program did send out 'AT' and CR, as the LEDs connected at P2 are lighted up 55H, 99H, 55H, 99H... for 3 times ('A','T',CR). After that, it comes to the receiving loop and stays there, which means it is not receiving anything. |
