#135942 - I tried it on a real 2051! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Interrupt generation works when the external interrupt 0 pin is configured as gate to timer0 but yet I didn't test the timer0 registers if they were at correct values or not! But I think they will be when I test them tomorrow. I know some TV remotes need to be measured for both the high & low time but the one I use now isn't that kind, thnx for the warning anyway. In fact I used that RC with PIC and AVR with built in compare modules before but that's the first time I use it on a 8051 so I just wanted to make sure that my idea was correct or not. I couldn't find a clear data on any of the datasheets or documents by Atmel for that method. At first I thought the pin is mutliplexed between the timer and interrupt circuits but I think it isn't. Thank to you all for your time and replies!
