Are you sure that your eraser is working properly?
If it was just the Intel D87C51s, you might mot be surprised that chips that old no longer program correctly but, if the new chip from RS also won't program, then it looks like your programmer has a fault. Can you beg, borrow or steal a known-good programmer from someone? Over here, RS still have an EPROM programming service listed in the printed catalogue, although I couldn't find anything about it online. You could try getting RS to program them... |
