I think my tread seems to have got lost, in a discussion about RS Components. I have Matthieu Benoit who has a WEB Site on Stag 39 checking some of his 87C51's out on his Stag 39 to make sure the software version works.
With regard to RS I have traded with them for over forty years, and I must admit in the last couple of years that have seemed, from a customer point of view, to have gone down hill drastically. From delivery, stock, help, and particularly their employee's, in the last two orders I logged twelve mistakes. I sent an e-mail to their site where they ask for feed back, they did not even acknowledge the e-mail.
I am now looking to trade with Digi-Key or Allied, delivery from UK where I originally come from to US V.I., where I now am, is expensive if you have to keep repeating orders because of lack of items in stock or missed items.
