When you check the SW output in the main power off mode it may be that there is no signal seen even if the output in fact is working. This is because this is an open drain output which is typically equipped with a pullup resistor to the main power. When you turn off the main power the pullup goes to GND and so no signal will be seen on this output pin. To run a valid test to see if the SW output is actually working it is necessary to temporarily move the pullup over to the battery voltage. - mkaras |
