and it's significant that some variants allow you disable ALE to lower emissions (assuming you don't need ALE of course)
Internal memory (code and data) makes for a much cleaner design, and make ISP a breeze, but one of the major reasons for using it is that the radiated EMI from the circuit drop dramatically when the memory activity has no 'antenna'. Erik |
