#13737 - Difference between LS, HC, HCT devices |
Hello,
I am using various IC's like 8255, 8031, 8279, 74138, 7404, 7407 etc on my microcontroller board. I am not very particular about the type of device i.e. LS, HC, HCT etc., as it depends upon their availability. Some time I am not able to get all the IC's in CMOS or all the IC's in TTL. Due to this I am facing a lot of problems, either RESET or other problems many a times. Please let me know the difference between such devices. Also how is it possible to make one device compatible with other? Regards, Mohit |
