Hi Mark!
Are you sure that your graphic display hasn't built-in character generator?
I don't know where you can find ready to load characters' patterns but to build your own characters you can use datasheet of character LCD display (f.e. 4x20). I have 2 descriptions of diffrent LCD displays and each one is containing ROM character generator patterns.
