I am looking to see if anyone has had success implementing the SensorPath single-wire protocol to an MCU such as an 8052. If you have tried this were there any pitfalls noted or was it a piece of cake?

I have anticipated an implementation of this and wonder if it has advantages to be able to talk to a small number of available types of SensorPath temperature sensors from National or Texas Instruments. Clearly there are a whole stable full of I2C and SMBus 2-Wire type sensors but in some applications maybe the 1-wire interface is better. Let me know what you think.
