#13883 - RE: Linux |
Hello all,
I tend to agree with Erik, I think getting 52' to run Linux would be quite an achievement. It's just not possible. The 52' was designed for control applications, and it does it's job very well. But with an 8-bit stack-pointer, anything but the most simple of multi-tasking kernels would prove difficult to implement. What is the nature of your application? Does it really require Linux? It's a very unusual requirement to want such a powerful OS on such a little processor. It just ain't going to happen!!! Matt. |
