Hi David,
I would offer a suggestion. Instead of elevating the barrier for just 10 seconds, and then lowering it again, I would suggest that you incorporate some sort of sensor to detect the presence of the vehicle under the barrier/arm, to ensure that the barrier/arm doesn't lower onto a slow or stalled vehicle. A simple PE (Photo Electric) beam would likely suffice. Just a thought, Joe |
