No Windows, so the mcu should be ISP programmable on those platforms.
If you want to use an OS that does not have a wide distribution do not expect a wide distribution of applications. I know of NO authorized ISP software that works under Linus. There is some frequently patched homemade 'Linux compatible' 'clone' of the SILabs tools, it was mentioned in a thread by Jan Waclavec recently. Please DO NOT start the usual whining thread "why can I not get everything for Linus" is it just not economically feasible to develop limited distribution apps (such as '51 tools) for two different OSes and since Windows is the most used, thst is the natural choice. This is NOT a "praise of Windows" but a statement of FACTs. Erik |
