#139674 - Craig Steiners input? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello Jon and thanks for the quick reply, it is at least good to know that someone else has seen this problem!
If you are right and this is a known problem then I think it is a bit of a show stopper for Pinnacle 52, I see this as an essential feature of an assembler/linker when you begin to write programs of a significant length and want to keep them readable and incorporate reusable code. There is no mention of this problem in the FAQ on the website and in several places on the website and within the literature it is claimed that the software handles this feature. For this reason I am still sceptical about this being a problem with the software, maybe Craig Steiner could shed some light on this? I did email him a few weeks ago with this problem but I never heard anything back. Having paid a $99 registration fee for software which claimed to handle modules and public/external symbols correctly I am quite dissapointed. Do people running under windows 95/98 also experience this problem? Best regards EI. |
