#140044 - stepper motor voltages
Hi all,

i am interfacing AT 89c51 with stepper motor (12v)
i am using uln2003 for this purpose. i have given +12 v for the driver ic (uln 2003 ) and also i have given the port pin output to the i/p of (uln2003) iam getting 5v at the port pins and iam getting 5v at the output of (uln2003) when i connect to the motor, the motor is not rotating my dought is

1. whether 5v output of uln 2003 is sufficient to drive stepper motor (coils) (or) 12v dc is necessary for the coils

2. i require voltage required for the stepper motor(12 v )
(i.e.,) coils

with regards

syed
