My problem is not to access external ram, but how to connect the I/O peripherals. I know that the CE0-3 area is read only and the PCE0-3 is rd/wr. But there's the possibility to abilitate the CE0-3 area as wr/rd too. So, in a non multiplexed bus configuration, how can i connect 8 leds (output) and 8 switches (input) and map them on the address bus? I'm asking this because i'll try to write a simple program that scans the state of the 8 switches and light the leds corresponding to a closed switch(i said that i'm a beginner with this micro, i always udes Z80 for my projects, but it's time to change!;)).
