#140899 - Packet monitor
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Take log of the packet sequence in both case, on-site and remote.
If you don't have a packet monitor, download Ethereal.

Ethereal http://www.ethereal.com/

a) In which layer does the packet corrupt, IP, TCP or HTTP (contents)?
It narrows down the range of bug.

b) Any retry occurs?
The embedded server should hold a packet until it gets ACK from the client PC. If it doesn't hold the packet, the server will fail when it receives retry.
