Take log of the packet sequence in both case, on-site and remote.
If you don't have a packet monitor, download Ethereal. Ethereal http://www.ethereal.com/ a) In which layer does the packet corrupt, IP, TCP or HTTP (contents)? It narrows down the range of bug. b) Any retry occurs? The embedded server should hold a packet until it gets ACK from the client PC. If it doesn't hold the packet, the server will fail when it receives retry. Tsuneo |
