You will obviously have to use "conventional embedded programming" for your embedded devices, but the issues you are facing are to do with networking - not programming. You need to understand how the networks work, and implement the appropriate protocols & procedures in your devices. How you implement those protocols & procedures is entirely irrelevant to the network. A TCP/IP network neither knows nor cares whether the devices using it are embedded devices, PCs, mainframes, internet "appliances", etc, nor whether they are programmed using "PC programming", or "conventional embedded programming" or any other paradigm! |
