Though they were intended as boot rom's for FPGA's, XILINX has, in the past, offered 8-pin serial PROMs. These are programmable, hence, they can be programmed, and, if they are like bipolars and EPROMs, which, not knowing, I can't say, the unprogrammed bits should be programmable, though only once.
ALTERA probably also offers similar parts. RE |
