Yes I did notice the timing of the clock pulses and there was no way that example was going to work as it was. Most of the ready-made-stuff has to be taken with a pinch of salt. There is no such thing as a free lunch. After I got that code, I then cross checked the routines with the one I treat as a bible on I2C bit-bang code : Software Implemented I2C drivers by G.Goodhue - Philips Semiconductors. It is in assembly but the foundation is solid. Raghu |
