It isn't I2C, because there is no addressing - however, it is a bidirectional 2-wire serial interface, so the basic bit-by-bit techniques of transferring the data will be similar... or Microcontroller Serial Interfacing. The ADC neither knows nor cares whether it's a microcontroller that is connected to this interface - all that matters is that it observes the timings, etc, as specified in the datasheet... |
