#142264 - a very desperate request |
I have a very desperate request.
In our new to-be board's prototype, my collegue designed various SMD resistor arrays. As we don't purchase directly parts, he assumed our supplier will be able to acquire the needed parts based on ordering numbers etc. Now we found out in the hardest possible way that these arrays are relatively hard to buy and it takes weeks to ship them (and in huge quantity, whereas we need up to a dozen for a couple of prototypes). Also we found out that they are manufactured in zillions of footprints and arrangements; but in fact, mostly only the 2x4-pin 4-R variety is used, in 2 or 3 dimensions. He designed in two types - a 2x8-pin 8-R type, which we can replace with the 4-R for the prototype; and a 2x5-pin, 2x4-R with 2 common pins at the edges, used as pullups - and this is the type we need very urgently. I would like to ask those who might have some of these around and could possibly miss a couple of pieces, to contact me. We will of course also negotiate a compensation for the parts. Thanks. Jan Waclawek PS. I now see I posted this by error in the main forum - would the Moderator or Webmaster be so kind to move it to the chatroom it belongs. Thanks. |
