I am currently involved in a project to build a barcode scanner to validate a swipe card with a Plessey type barcode.

I need to check that the checksum is correct but so far have drawn a blank with the information that is available, as all seem to point to the MSI Plessey, which is checked differently to the one I am using.

One suggestion that was to use a CRC table with a generation polynomial of x^8+x^7+x^6+^x^5+x^3+1, but I have no experience in doing this, any one know how to generate the table, or know a link to find it.
