The board that I'm using is an Atmel 89C55 processor. I didn't choose this but was presented with this to work done.

It sounds like then what I am trying to do with this processor is not possible. This processor is FLASH programmable device. I thought I could program a menu type of feature on the mcu and then store my different programs on the external ram. Depending on my choice on the PC, the mcu would load the different programs.
