If you are newbie then you must first read the tutorial for interfacing with LCDs in this site.
Get a 44780 compatible LCD. Connect the pins first in 8 bit mode and try the sample program given in SDCC in the code libraray of this site. You can display something only after experimenting. Keep trying. |
