#143752 - RD2 and Flash magic works well Responding to: ???'s previous message |
As David said, P89C51RD2 works very well with Flash magic. Connect EA pin to VCC. Make a switch for PROG mode (PSEN to GND) and RUN mode (PSEN to float or OE of RAM if ur board is using any ROM).
Follow the sequence of operations below. 1. Power ON the device. 2. Keep the switch in PROG mode (PSEN to GND) 3. Press Reset (Reset the uc) 4. Run Flash Magic. 5. Set the parameters requried. (Select the proper device 89C51RD2xx) 6. Check the block 'Erase blocks used by HexFile' 7. Browse the hex file to download 8. Start. After downloading 1. Keep the switch in RUN mode (PSEN to float or....) 2. Press Reset. Then your program starts running..... I guarantee this works well..... JPRAO |
