#143954 - Reset Circuit Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The point of the tristate buffer is to allow a reset circuit to be connected to the Reset pin at the same time. Do you have one? If you simply connected the output from the buffer to the reset pin then you will have a problem. Your circuit should be designed so that you can reset the device with or without the serial cable connected - either by pressing a button or cycling the power.
Not all NXP devices have a maufacturer code of 15H. If you were able to communicate with the device without Flash Magic complaining that the signature didn't match, then there is nothing to worry about. Assuming you didn't disable the signature check in the advanced options. Andy |
