#14477 - 8051 based analog input card |
hi
i have a semester project to make an 8951 based card whihc takes in 3 analog inputs..speed ,temperature and pressure ..with diff ranges for each the input can beselected by the user by pressing switches or all three r displayed on 7 segment displays with a gap of 3 seconds....first of all i do not know how to configure the timer for a 3 second delay secondly the 8951 also gives the voltage output to a d to a converter and also to the serial port of a pc...i have all of ths figured out the prob here is that im having a prb with the pins of the 8951..they r not enough for the application i was wondering if some one can suggest how to make an address bus with 2 ports or something so that i can put the A/D and D/A on the same port or some other way ...except PPI i do not want to use that as already the project cost is coming out to be too much to afford also i need a program of 7 segment display interfacing with 8951 if there r similar projects on the net i would like to take a loo at them ive searched and searched but havent ome up with satisfactory stuff so any help will be apreciated ...as in guidelines or other similar projects to look at thankx in advance maryam ps i need some stuff fast ive only got this month to finish this...not to mention all my other prjects for the semester |
