This means that you will read garbage the first time.
This is not completely true. The datasheet clearly states that the first byte read out after initialization is 0x80h (see page 10). Maybe this can be seen as garbage, but it's at least every time the same garbage. This could maybe used as a reference readout after startup for some purposes... |
