In 8051 the interruption is detected for flank ascendent or descendent.
INCORRECT only falling edges create interrupts In encoder signal A and B it is in different phase, so that if the interruption is detected by flank I lose information because no detect when A and B changes from 0 to 1 or from 1 to 0. I thought that old goose (A = clock, b = dir) was cooked. The simple, universl, proven method is to use an (Agilent) Quadrature decoder. It is possible to do it in the micro, but many factors makes it darn difficult. Erik |
