#145509 - 8051 programming with Linux |
Hello Everyone
I am trying to program this board: http://www.mikroe.com/en/tools/easy8051/ using Ubuntu flavoured linux (Feisty Fawn). I could do this perfectly simply when I used the supplied software and Windows, but that is no longer an option. I have searched this site and have found the help on using linux with 8051, but I cannot get GTKTerm to recognise the USB port on my machine. I think the new Ubuntu must label the ports differently. Anyway, I would be very grateful if anyone could explain a way of getting my software onto the chip. Many Thanks in advance Lee Russell |
