... and there are many of them. "Modern" in this context is roughly equivalent to "not pin-compatible PDIP40/PLCC44".
SiLabs might be dominant but is definitively not the only one; exactly as Atmel was not the only '51 derivative manufacturer, although it might have seem so in the past in certain countries... JW |
