#147719 - Sorry ! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Eric !
Sorry about this whine. It is not my habit writing whines on forums and then expect to get some help ;) OukiDouki. I have already written an e-mail to Ramtron and I am eagerly waiting their answer to it. Hopefully they do not insist on keeping the protocol in their drawer. LOL ! About the kitchen table. I once had my old HP logic analyzer on that table and with all the wires and stuff it was the REAL IT spaghetti. Luckily I got my task done before my wife came back home.... All I am trying here is to give the community an alternative. At the moment it seems like there is no - as You call it - bootloader for Linux or other OS than that widespread one. And, I am NOT going to start the discussion which one is better. Actually they both are. It just happens that I have a LOT of code written on a Linux (earlier it was True64) machine and I am really not willing to put windows into it. I am not too keen on setting up another machine for this purpose either if that can be avoided by creating a very simple program. Thanks for the critic ! |
