thank you, but I am looking for a chip solution. I have talked to that individual before about text overlay. I am looking for a chip that I can control with an 8052 that can lay data over live video. I think the STV5730 looks promising. I don't want to tie up the uP with H sync & v snc math. I would rather have an external IC do the job. I just didn't know which one would do the job.
