You still seem to be not understanding what Erik wanted to elaborate.

You mentioned only what the instruction is doing and not the reason why you put that instruction there,

Though,

You mean it in your narration, i.e. you understand the puropose of comments but just could not effectively mention in your example.

Its ok with me that you know the comments' purpose even if your explanation doesn't match it.

May be Erik is not still convinced about you.....
