@ Jan, The CR and LF characters were causing the garbage characters. With Bray's terminal, I was able to map the memory locations to the data I needed to extract. @Andy, I'd tried using the module with Hyperterminal and printing all the received data to an LCD. Nothing had worked. It was honestly the first time I had heard of Bray's terminal and I'm very thankful to Jan for it.
