If you are making a one off type of project I would suggest reverting to normal serial interface using either RS232 or simplify the MCU end using a TTL232R-3V3 type cable (http://www.dlpdesign.com/usb/TTL232R.pdf)
Otherwise consider getting your application working first with non-RS485 serial (but still design your command protocol with half duplex in mind) and then once successful then add in the RS485 layer. Michael Karas |
